The Global Villa: Les Champs Élysées
 |
Les Champs Élysées, the French Floor in the Global Villa, is created for students with a passion for exploring French and Francophone culture through language by providing the opportunity to live with other students with similar interests in a learning community. Residents of Les Champs Élysées enhance their proficiency in French while deepening their understanding of the diversity of cultures that make up the increasingly global environment in which we live. |
For students planning to study in French-speaking countries or returning from abroad, living on Les Champs-Elysées can help hone or maintain speaking skills and enrich cultural perspectives.
Les Champs Élysées has a native French assistant who lives in the community and interacts with residents in planning programs and in developing linguistic skills.
Students in the French wing expand their fluency in the language through many different types of activities including common course work, conversation, cultural events, film, visits to museums and culinary activities. |
