Former Graduate Student, Jennifer Hart Weed, invited to give the 2008 Aquinas Philosophy Lecture at Emory University

• Recent developments in psychology and philosophy suggest that perception is more widespread than previously assumed. Some researchers claim that it is possible, quite literally, to perceive moral, aesthetic, personal and other "high-level" properties of objects, events and persons. This conference brings together experts in the psychology, epistemology and metaphysics of perception to explore the nature and scope of a variety of perceptual capacities.
