THEOLOGY DIGEST offers condensations and translations of recent, significant articles selected from over 400 of the world’s theological journals.

The specific aim is to provide condensed translations of noteworthy articles from various languages including important work published in English by, for example, African and Asian journals not readily accessible to the global theological community.

Each digest is approved by the author of the original article. An abstract (indicated by “A” in the table of contents) reports more briefly what in the editors’ judgment are the salient ideas of an article. Opinions expressed are not necessarily those of the editors.

Three issues of digests and abstracts are published each year, plus one issue (No. 4, Winter) containing the annual Bellarmine Lecture and other significant lectures.
