Teaching: My primary teaching responsibilities have been master's and doctoral levels in general research methods and theory. I have taught courses on-campus and on the Web for distance learning.

Research: My focus has been on health behavior in older adults with a particular emphasis on exercise behavior. My National Institute of Nursing Research funded research focuses on how we can change older adults' thoughts
about their exercise behavior.

Practice: I have been a consultant on statistical and research design for health-related activities.

Professional and Scholarly Activities: I am a reviewer for several professional journals and for Sigma Theta Tau International. I am a member of Midwest Nursing Research Society and the American College of Sports Medicine.
