Lynda R. Campbell Memorial Lecture Series: Topics in Diversity
Summer Institute


NESPA Review Course

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders sponsors a Speech-Language Pathology Review Course. This is an intensive two-day workshop usually held during the fall semester on the Saint Louis University campus. The program includes departmental faculty presentations on major aspects of speech-language pathology, a review of audiology and aural rehabilitation as well as ethical and professional issues. The course is designed to be beneficial for practicing professionals who wish to update knowledge and for students who are preparing to take the SLP National Praxis Examination. Lynda R. Campbell Memorial Lecture Series: Topics in Diversity

This seminar series is co-sponsored with the College of Public Service to honor the contributions of former Chair and Associate Professor, Dr. Lynda R.Campbell. Her research and teachings in multiculturalism were an inspiration to her students, colleagues and members of the community. This series features nationally known scholars who present day long seminars on issues in diversity. The lecture series will continue Dr. Campbell's mission of increasing knowledge and understanding of diversity. This series is held each spring and fall and is open to all who are interested. Summer Institute

Each summer the Department offers an intensive week-long course on a specialized content area in speech-language pathology. The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders has held this highly successful summer institute for over 25 years. Distinguished lecturers from across the nation serve as visiting professors on a variety of current topics. Participants earn two hours of graduate credit from Saint Louis University. Both practicing professionals and graduate level students are invited to attend the Summer Institute.
