Directions Magazine has a wealth of geographic information systems (GIS) information on a wide variety of subjects, including many that may be of interest to those in the local government sector.

Federal Register - Gateway to all recently proposed and established federal regulations and US code.

Harland Bartholomew & Associates Collection (Washington University Special Collections) - Bartholomew came to St. Louis in 1916 with the charge of creating a comprehensive plan for the city. He was the first full-time planner employed by an American city.

Institute for Urban Research of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville - The Institute for Urban Research is dedicated to the investigation of problems and issues that affect the quality of life of those who live and work in urban or metropolitan areas.
