| The
Department of Public Policy Studies
at Saint Louis University is committed
to excellence in education and research.
The Department recognizes the need
for new and innovative ideas in
education and therefore provides
an interdisciplinary range of experiences
for its students.
Department faculty
and students have been involved
in over $8 million of funded research
including projects for the United
States Department of Labor, the
United States Department of Education,
the Brookings Institute, and a variety
of regional, state, and local public
and private entities.
The interdisciplinary
nature of the Department makes it
a unique educational experience
for both its graduate and undergraduate
students. In addition to its own
core faculty, the Department includes
joint appointed faculty from the
Schools of Business, Law, Public
Health, and Social Service and the
Departments of Political Science,
Psychology, and Sociology. This
interweaving of paradigms enhances
the educational experience, and
provides the versatility in analysis
and reasoning essential for addressing
the complex challenges of the policy
environment. |
