Professor John M. Griesbach joined SLU LAW in 1977 and his scholarship has focused on developments in tort law, administrative law, regulatory reform and environmental law. He has since published a number of papers on these subjects and has lectured in these areas and on various topics in legal philosophy.
Griesbach attended Marquette University and later received his J.D., graduating cum laude, from Harvard Law School. His interest in legal philosophy flourished at Harvard, where he went on to earn his LL.M. with a focus on philosophy and economics.
