Professor Thaman was in Jakarta, Indonesia, December 4-8, working with the working group responsible for drafting a new Code of Criminal Procedure for the Republic of Indonesia. This was upon invitation of the US Dept. of Justice. He also gave a talk to the group on "Comparative Approaches to Plea-Bargaining and Consensual Resolution of Criminal Cases."

The first report in the series, "The Missouri Health Care Landscape," compares the Missouri and Massachusetts environments, and was released this past summer.

He also delivered the paper, "Third Party Interests: Balancing Individual and Group Rights at the Arbitration Hearing," at the Fall education conference of the National Academy of Arbitrators in New Orleans. His reminiscences, "The Night Hank Williams Came to Town," appeared in the Spring issue of the organization's magazine, The Chronicle.

Professor Greaney was the Inaugural Visiting Consortium Professor on Law and Values in Health, Environment & the Life Sciences at the University of Minnesota from October 30-November 1. He gave the lecture on the 2003 law reforming Medicare, "Nation Building or Insurgency? The Medicare Modernization Act of 2003." He presented a paper to the law faculty and gave a lecture to students. Other events included meeting with consortium members, Joint Degree Program partners, Joint Degree Program students, faculty throughout the University and relevant community members.

Her chapter entitled "The Conflicting and Contradictory Dance: The Essential Management of Identity for Women of Colour in the Legal Academy" was published in Calling for Change: Women, Law and the Legal Profession Ten Years After Touchstones (2006).
