Student Services hosted a number of therapy dogs from C.H.A.M.P. (Canine Helpers Allow More Possibilities), a local volunteer organization of therapy dogs and their owners, to help alleviate pre-finals stress.

SLU LAW's Moot Court teams had lots of success this year. 3L Jamille Fields and 2L Aujsha Weeden took second place in the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition Midwest Regional, advancing to the national competition in Atlanta.

SLU LAW Wedding
SLU LAW played host to a wedding in March when 2L Chris Stuffle and Michelle Chirco got married in Queen's Daughters Hall.
Michael Wolff
Judge Michael Wolff was selected as dean of the law school in March. Wolff previously served on the faculty and as a judge on the Missouri Supreme Court.
Boot camp
A trial advocacy class put together a "Boot Camp" exercise to coach two Youth In Government teams from inner-city St. Louis high schools in March.
Law school snow
A late-season snow storm left the campus blanketed in more than 8 inches of snow on Palm Sunday, while parts of St. Louis got more than a foot.
Naturalization Ceremony
SLU LAW hosted a naturalization ceremony in April. Twenty-six people from 11 countries became American citizens.

Construction on the new law school building in downtown St. Louis began in the fall and is expected to be done in time for the school to move in July.
