Goldstein discusses the likelihood of Vice President Joe Biden running for president in the 2016 election. In his discussion he mentions prominent vice presidents of the past who did decide to run and how they fared. His interview is on the WDEL website under the Delaware News at Noon section and entitled, "Vice President expert Joel Goldstein on Joe Biden's 2016 presidential hopes."

A current SLU LAW faculty member, Wolff brings an established record of leadership to his new role, having served 13 years on the Missouri Supreme Court and as its Chief Justice from 2005-2007. Liebesman was quoted in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch regarding the United Supreme Court case being argued on Feb. 19, Bowman v. Monsanto, on whether – absent of a contract – Monsanto can control the use of the progeny of patented soybeans it sells. This could be a major court decision regarding the exhaustion of control over self-replicating patents after the first sale of the patented product.

SLU LAW Frederick Douglass Moot Court Team Advances to the National Competition

Saint Louis University School of Law qualifies for the national Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition (FDMCC) for the third consecutive year.  This year, the SLU LAW FDMCC team includes Jamille Fields, a third-year law student, and Aujsha Weeden, a second-year law student. They will compete in the national competition in Atlanta on March 6 - 10, 2013.
