Professor Johnson has been named to a task force to revise the Hastings Center "Guidelines on the Termination of Life-Sustaining Treatment and Care of the Dying." These Guidelines, first published in 1987, have been cited in judicial opinions, including in Justice O'Connor's concurrence in the Cruzan case. The task force met in New York in January and will be working on the project over the next year.
