Do you have any unusual or interesting passions/interests: I enjoy listening to National Public Radio, knitting scarfs, riding my bicycle and playing with my Welsh Corgi Gizmo.

Law School Snapshot

Why did you want to go to law school?

I wanted to go to law school to become better at thinking and analyzing and to challenge myself to do more professionally.

What advice would you give first-year students?

If a concept or doctrine seems difficult to understand, do more background reading.

How do you balance life and law school?

I use a calendar, plan well in advance and remember to take a break when things feel overwhelming.

What’s most challenging about adjusting to law school?

Maintaining your confidence when things become challenging and self-doubt begins to creep in.

What are you most excited about regarding the move downtown?

I am looking forward to the increased access to public transportation and the new library, with hopefully more sunlight and great views.

 

Spotlight on St. Louis 

What’s does St. Louis offer that you didn’t expect? There are so many free things to do like the Zoo, Forest Park museums and the Gateway Arch grounds.

What would you tell a prospective student about living in St. Louis? St. Louis City has some great neighborhoods to explore; there are so many things to see wherever you live.

What is one thing that you like that St. Louis has that your hometown does not have? The Mississippi River
