“When I think about education at SLU LAW, so much is about Vincent Immel. Now, when I run into a hard problem, I think about what he taught – the discipline of analysis he drilled into us has had a huge influence on me.”
What was your impression of SLU LAW? I was very impressed. Looking back it felt like a welcoming place and faculty and staff did a good job of making you feel at home.
What attracted you to SLU LAW? The School of Law’s emphasis on service orientation came through so strongly during my time there, and it had an effect on me. It’s my philosophy to be a servant leader, even in my professional life. My colleagues laughingly say that ‘I’m happy to be of service’ is my mantra.
What was your favorite part about attending SLU LAW? I had fabulous classmates at SLU LAW. There was a great camaraderie and a lot of fun, even though we were all working hard for the best grades we could get.
