Dr. Baker teaches an
Intervention Research course, as well as a course on Community Diagnosis. Her
main areas of interest are in social networks/social support, control and
other social determinants of health (e.g., race and income), and the ways in
which these influence community and individual capacity to create desired
changes. Dr. Baker is a member of the American Public Health Association and
the Society for Public Health Education.
