Dr. Harris's
research interests include the use of innovative analytic methods in
health and social science research, with particular emphasis on the use
of social network analysis to evaluate public health systems. She is the
principal investigator on an RWJF mini-grant using NACCHO data to
investigate the organizational structure of over 500 local public health
agencies across the country. She has also been part of several local,
state, and national tobacco control program evaluations in her role as
Analyst for the Center for Tobacco Policy Research (CTPR). She is
currently the Assistant Director of Research at CTPR, which is jointly
housed at Saint Louis University School of Public Health and the George
Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University. Dr. Harris
joined the faculty at the SLU SPH in July, 2008.
