Evans, PhD, MPH, has been appointed the interim chair of the
department of Community Health in the School of Public
Health. Dr. Evans joined the Saint Louis University
community in 1976 and has spent his career with the SPH, teaching

Evashwick to Receive National Award -
Connie
Evashwick, Sc.D., professor of community health and health
management and policy at Saint Louis University School of Public
Health, is being recognized by the American Public Health
Association (APHA) for her role as a leading scholar in public
policy and aging. Evashwick will receive the Philip G. Weiler
Award for Leadership in Aging and Public Health on Nov. 9 at the
