Saint Louis University's 2017 May commencement ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 9 a.m. at Chaifetz Arena, located at 1 S. Compton Ave.
The names of graduates from each school, college or degree-granting center are read at pre-commencement ceremonies beginning Thursday, May 18. Students are then conferred as graduates at the commencement ceremony.
If you plan to graduate in May 2017, you must complete and submit an application through Banner Self-Service. Once you’ve applied to graduate, you will receive instructions on how to RSVP for the commencement ceremoney via your SLU email address.
All graduates should arrive at Chaifetz Arena no later than 8 a.m. May 20. You must robe at Chaifetz Arena. The ceremony lasts approximately an hour-and-a-half.
Chaifetz Arena is handicapped accessible. A drop-off area for guests is located on Compton Avenue and parking is available in the Saint Louis University garage located at the intersection of Olive Street and Compton Avenue.
Diplomas will be mailed to your address provided to the Office of the University Registrar on your graduation application. Diplomas will not be available for pickup after the commencement ceremony. For more information about diplomas, call 314-977-2269.
