Compliance Conundrums: March 2014

To report a compliance concern regarding business, billing, or ethical practices, call the confidential Compliance Hotline at
877-525-KNOW (5669)

March's topic is Research Compliance:

  1. What document is required to transfer materials to and from Saint Louis University for research purposes?
  2. What is the difference between an "export" and a "deemed export"?
  3. I worked last summer on a sponsored award and just remembered that I did not include it on my effort report I certified three months ago. Can I submit a MOA and get paid now nine months after the fact?

Answers can be submitted via Google Forms.

For more information regarding Compliance Conundrums or anything to do with research compliance, call 314-977-5545 or visit Office of University Compliance website.

The Office of University Compliance is sponsoring a monthly Trivia Contest on the topics of Research, HIPAA, IRB and FERPA. Three questions will be posted in Newslink on the second Wednesday of the month and winners will be announced the following week. Only one entry per person will be allowed. Correct answers will be sorted and a winner will be chosen at random.

Higher purpose. Greater good.
