Tammi Mooshegian, CME Program Director, has been collaborating with Swank Healthcare since 2007, to provide continuing education credits for healthcare professionals. This partnership has brought Saint Louis University School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and School of Social Work, onto the world wide stage for continuing education. Traumatic Brain Injury, Blast Injury Conference, Fluoroscopic Training for in-field military hospital physicians, Biological Agents, and the Psychological Health of the wounded warrior, are just a sampling of activities that have been associated with Saint Louis University Continuing Education programs. These activities are geared toward the health and well being of our military men and women and their families. The Saint Louis University CME staff is very proud to be associated with the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center, the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury, the Department of the Army, the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disease, and the Henry Ford Jackson Foundation.

Without the partnership of Swank HealthCare, these continuing education activities would not have come to the successful conclusion that has brought many hours of accredited education to the participants. Through the collaboration with other schools at SLU, our program is able to offer a wide variety of healthcare continuing education credits.

Our goal is make SLU a one stop shop for healthcare continuing education activities to ensure our program continues to grow and be successful.

Tim Swank, the Chairman of Swank Healthcare, and Jon Gillianzo, the educational and technical adviser for Swank Healthcare, surprised Tammi with an award to commemorate the great partnership that has developed over the past five years and to congratulate her on contracts for future collaborations.

We look forward to many more successful activities to bring continuing education to participants in our region, through out the United States and abroad.
