One research project involves design, development and implementation of a normalized database housing ion-neutral gas transport data. A web-based interface enables searching and sorting of theoretical and experimental data.
The second research project involves computing and interpreting molecular orbitals in organometallic compounds. Computational tools include GAMESS and Gaussian running on computers in the SLU Chemistry department and also on the NCSA supercomputers.
The third research project is focused on the detection and removal of naturally-occuring arsenic in shallow well water in Bangladesh. A variety of chemical and natural processes are under investigation.
