The Department of Chemistry has two open tenure-track faculty positions.

Physical Chemistry Tenure Track Faculty Search

Saint Louis University, a Catholic Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, seeks applicants for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Chemistry position, in the area of physical chemistry, that is to start in the Fall of 2017. A PhD in chemistry (or related field) is required and post-doctoral experience is preferred. Successful candidates will develop an independent research program and be committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching. We particularly encourage applications from those with a background in spectroscopy. The Department offers BA/BS degrees in chemistry and biochemistry and MS and PhD degrees in chemistry. A PhD in chemistry (or related field) is required and post-doctoral experience is preferred. While all areas of inorganic chemistry will be considered, the applicants are expected to integrate bioinorganic chemistry into their research and teaching portfolio.
