Saint Louis University

The BS program in Biochemistry is designed for students interested in applications of chemistry to the life sciences. This degree provides excellent preparation for students interested in working in biochemistry, molecular biology, or biotechnology. The degree provides preparation to work as a professional biochemist in an industrial or government laboratory. Students with the ACS certified degree in biochemistry also have the skills to work as a professional chemist. The degree gives excellent preparation for graduate school in biochemistry, graduate medical training programs in a variety of areas, and in chemistry.
