Registration for Spring 2013 will start on November 5th for seniors. In addition to our usual offerings, two new classes offer opportunities to develop studio production skills or learn more about health communication.
CMM 293: Studio Production - News Magazine focuses on producing multiple television news magazine shows. The class will collaborate with the professor to come up with interview/story ideas. Students will take on roles for each new show, including producer, director, and on-camera talent. The shows will be recorded in the CMC studio.
CMM 309: Health Communication examines health communication theory and research. The class focuses on the influence of culture, interpersonal communication, societal structures, media, and technology on practice. Explores the role of communication in a variety of health contexts such as health care delivery, health care promotion, disease prevention, and risk communication.
