The Center for Environmental Sciences (CES) is directed by Dr. Jack Fishman, Professor in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.

The focus of SLU's Center for Environmental Sciences is public education, outreach, and research on how human activities are changing the Earth's atmosphere and how these atmospheric changes are impacting our biological environment.

February 2017: We have issued a request for proposals (RFP) to fund builiding outdoor Ozone Gardens in EPA's Region 7 (IA, KS, NE, MO).  The proposal deadline is March 1, 2017.  Please contact Jack Fishman,, or Kelley Belina,, with any questions.
