Saint Louis University

Saint Louis University has a long history in earthquake seismology.  Many faculty and students, past and present, have made significant contributions to the general field of earthquake seismology and to earthquake hazards especially in the Midwest.  A network of seismometers is operated and maintained by the Center, which is part of a regional network to monitor seismicity of the New Madrid seismic zone and a global network to monitor seismicity around the world.  The Center is also host to many graduate students and some undergraduate students.

You can find more information about the Center, seismology, and many other earthquake-related topics by visiting the Center's homepage, or by contacting Dr. Robert Herrmann.
