The Art History Program hosts several events each year on campus. Current students, alumni and anyone with an interest in art are encouraged to join us!

Our Art History Speaker Series invites two scholars each year to Saint Louis University. Past speakers have included local, national and international scholars  and their discussions have covered topics numerous topics. 

In the spring semester is the SLU Undergrad Art History Symposium. Here, students present individually-researched papers before the SLU community.

"The Problematic of the Pose" Dr. Susan Waller (UMSL) will speak about the evolutions of the traditional constructions of the encounter between artist and model and an alternative paradigm to the prevailing theory.
