Narrative: I have enjoyed a very long teaching career at SLU that has enabled me to maintain a deeply satisfying commitment to painting. The greater share of that satisfaction is the result of working with, and encouraging the efforts of students whose interests and enthusiasm have been a continuing source of inspiration for my work.
Service: regular volunteer for several social service agencies including: Gateway Homeless Services; and Meals on Wheels.
