Minor in Political Science

A minor in Political Science may be attained by taking 18 hours (or six courses).

These courses can be distributed in a general track or a specialized track:

General track
three courses in three of the four major subfields - American Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Political Thought (9 hours);

three political science electives (9 hours)

 

Specialized track
three courses in just one of the major subfields (9 hours)

three political science electives (9 hours)

 

No more than 6 hours of transfer credit will count toward the minor. No more than 3 hours of internship credit will count toward the minor.
