Capstone Title: Capstone project focuses on contextualizing urban poverty
in East St. Louis, Illinois through understanding the city's
history--a history full of racism, corrupted politics,
deindustrialization, and white flight--and through the
personal narratives of longtime residents.

Plans after Graduation: Before eventually pursuing graduate school in critical race
theory and social ethics, Sarah will continue in her position at East Side Heart & Home
Family Center in East St. Louis.
