The Journal of Policy History will be published by Cambridge University Press, beginning in 2009.


 

 



Submissions

We hope you will consider the Journal of Policy History for publishing your scholarly examinations of the history of public policy.

Manuscripts should be typed, double-spaced, and should generally not exceed 8,000 words. Document sources using Endnotes which follow The Chicago Manual of Style format for citations. All submission packages should contain the following:

  • A cover letter introducing the submission

  • Two copies of the submission

  • A separate title page which lists author's name, position, organization, department, contact information (address, email, phone number), and date of submission

  • An author biographical sketch not exceeding 50 words

  • An abstract summarizing the submission not exceeding 150 words

  • A disk or CD containing the submission files (Microsoft Word format preferred)

Manuscripts will be reviewed anonymously by scholars with expertise in the article subject matter, so authors' names should appear only on the title page.
