The DuBourg Society is a select community of donors.
DuBourg Society members set the pace in advancing Saint Louis
University’s mission of excellence in teaching, research and
service to the community through their generous financial support.
The DuBourg Society is named after the University’s founder, Louis William DuBourg, Bishop of Louisiana. Bishop DuBourg saw beyond the city’s frontier beginnings and visualized what the city of St. Louis and the University were destined to become. Saint Louis University is heir to the bold vision of Bishop DuBourg in establishing a center for higher learning, and the support of our DuBourg Society members helps us continue to strive for excellence in becoming the finest Catholic university in the United States.
DuBourg Society members demonstrate their commitment to the ideals of Jesuit higher education, and by example, encourage others to do the same. They provide leadership for the University and receive in return the heartfelt gratitude of the University community, both present and future.
