Rescheduled Exam Request (RER) Information
The Testing Center at Beracha Hall offers individualized rescheduled exam proctoring services to instructors when unusual circumstances, such as illness, scheduling conflicts, or athletic events conflicts, prevent a student from taking an exam in the classroom.
Before initiating a Rescheduled Exam Request (RER), the instructor and the student must have agreed on a date and time for the rescheduled exam to be taken at the Testing Center.
Once an agreement on a date and time has been reached, the instructor is responsible for managing the scheduling process and should obtain the RER form. The instructor should complete and submit the RER form to the Frost Testing Center in 108 Beracha Hall with minimum advanced notification of 48 business hours prior to the requested rescheduled exam time.
Once completed, the RER form may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or hand-delivered to the staff at the Frost campus Testing Center, 108 Beracha Hall.
The Testing Center services are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Because the Testing Center is an optional supportive resource, exams cannot be scheduled earlier or later than the hours of operation. For exams that need to occur earlier than 8:00 AM or later than 4:30 PM, course instructors will need to either proctor the exam within the department or adjust the time of the exam to fit within the Testing Center hours of operation.
