Lifetime Excellence in Education Award

Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training and Associate Professor of Physical Therapy, Mark Reinking, P.T., Ph.D., SCS, ATC, has been awarded the Lifetime Excellence in Education Award. The purpose of this prestigious award is to acknowledge an individual who has made significant contributions in the area of sports physical therapy education through excellence in academic teaching clinical education, and/or professional development over ten years.
The award was presented at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting, Sports Physical Therapy Section Awards event Wednesday evening, February 5, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nev. This award is in recognition of his long term contributions to the profession and the section. We are honored to have such a respected and valued individual among our faculty. Reinking shared his personal thoughts on the award, "I am honored and humbled by this award from the Sports PT Section of the APTA. Through my journey in education, I have learned much from my students and fellow faculty and I dedicate this award to their influence in my life."
