Nuclear Medicine Program Holds First Alumni Event
The Nuclear Medicine Technology Program held their first alumni event in conjunction with the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging’s 2014 Annual Meeting. The alumni event featured a roaring 20s theme and took place at the Thaxton Building with more than 80 attendees.
“The support of our alumni is overwhelming and the contributions they make to our program are invaluable,” said Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapeutics Department Chair and NMT Program Director, William Hubble.
Nathan Majzel, a 2002 alum of the NMT program says, “There is always an “event of the year” at every SNMMI Annual Meeting, and the SLU NMT alumni event definitely brought home the award this year.”
“Maggie Dermody and The Saint Louis University Alumni Relations Office went out of their way to make sure the event was a success,” said Hubble, “Their effort helped the night run smoothly, and I really appreciate their support.”
The SNMMI Annual Meeting is a gathering for thousands of physicians, technologists, physicists, scientists and exhibitors which combines the representation of more than 150 companies, 110 continuing education sessions and 2,000 scientific paper and poster presentations.
