SLU’s Annual Disability Awareness Week

Saint Louis University's Annual Disability Awareness WeekSaint Louis University’s Student Occupational Therapy Association will host SLU student Peter Vishneski at 7:00 pm Tuesday, March 25, in DuBourg Hall, Room 156.

Vishneski will talk about how he has overcome his disability after a car accident last fall and how it has changed his life, leaving him more determined than ever.

This event is part of SLU SOTA's annual Disability Awareness Week taking place on campus from March 25 - 27, 2014. The focus of the week is to raise awareness about disability rights issues.

SLU SOTA has several events planned for the week:

  • Tuesday, March 25 at 7:00 pm in DuBourg Hall, Room 156
    Peter Vishneski Presentation
  • Wednesday, March 26 at 7:00 pm at Webster Groves Ice Arena
    St. Louis Blue Sled Hockey Team
  • Thursday, March 27 from 10 am - 12 pm at the Clocktower
    Disability Obstacle Course, co-sponsored by Disability Services Club
