B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Science

Core Curriculum Requirements
Students majoring in either clinical laboratory science (CLS) or investigative and medical sciences (IMS) must complete the core curriculum requirements of the Doisy School of Allied Heath Professions, excluding the Anatomy and History requirements (a social science elective is substituted for the History requirement).

B.S. in CLS Curriculum Requirements
The profession of clinical laboratory science is an instrumental part of competent and effective healthcare.

Most diagnosis and treatment decisions are based on clinical laboratory information.

Graduates are highly skilled bioanalysts with diverse roles to include performing and assuring the accuracy of diagnostic test results, managing data to provide reliable information, and managing laboratory operations to provide timely and cost-effective services.
