Degrees offered:
* Degree available only to students enrolled in the entry-level Master of Physical Therapy program.
** The Program in Physical Therapy will discontinue their transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy (tDPT) program as of January 2012. All students wishing to complete their tDPT degree at Saint Louis University must do so by December 2011. The tDPT program was approved in 2002 and it was designed to educate SLU Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) graduates at the DPT level by covering additional content not covered in the SLU MPT program. The tDPT program was envisioned as a temporary program to primarily bridge the MPT-DPT gap and to offer those interested MPT students an opportunity to complete the DPT degree. The final MPT class at Saint Louis University will have degrees conferred in January 2009. The Program in Physical Therapy now has an entry-level DPT curriculum and the first DPT class will complete this degree in May 2010.
