The Graduate Program in the Department of Educational Foundations aims at engaging students within its five dimensions: Scholarship and Knowledge, Intellectual Inquiry and Communication, Community Building, Leadership and Service, and Spirituality and Values. In light of these dimensions, the faculty is dedicated to the preparation of reflective practitioners committed to excellence in service to others.

Educational Foundations Application Review Process
- The program has a year-round, rolling application process that is reviewed by committee.
- A committee examines and reviews the applicant and application wholly.
- An above-average GPA
- A review of GRE or MAT scores
- A review of TOEFL scores (for International applicants)
- The program draws from a large pool of qualified applicants.
- Currently there are 342 students.
- Higher Education is the second-largest Graduate Education program (Educational Leadership is the largest Graduate Education program)

Credit Hours/Coursework: A minimum of 32 credit hours is required, not to include more than: 6 hours from outside the College of Public Service; 6 hours of transfer credit; 6 hours of graduate readings; and 10 hours of 400-level courses.
