Acquisition and renovation of this building gave a new home to the School of Law and expanded the campus into downtown St. Louis. The project aimed to expand the 47-year-old office building into a exquisite, state-of-the-art facility to accommodate the law school's programming needs.

Design Intent

The location will encourage interaction between the law school and the downtown community. Large windows will provide spectacular views of downtown, as well as ample natural light. The building boasts generous space for individual and group study. The addition of a twelfth floor provides space for a 300 seat courtroom, a pavilion and outdoor patio. The new Saint Louis University School of Law will be the visual beacon of downtown at night, with distinctive windows and blue lights.
