Ashok S. Kirumaki, M.D., has joined the faculty of Saint Louis University School of Medicine as an assistant professor of internal medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Kirumaki earned his medical degree from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore, India, followed by a residency at Rush University and fellowships in pulmonary and critical care medicine, lung transplant, and critical care medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. He joins SLUCare from his fellowships.

Dr. Kirumaki is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Pulmonary
Medicine and the American Board of Sleep Medicine. An attending physician at Saint Louis University Hospital, Dr. Kirumaki has clinical expertise in pulmonary hypertension, critical care, advanced lung disorders, lung transplantation, cystic fibrosis and sleep disorders.

In addition to patient care and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Kirumaki has research interests in pulmonary
