Jasmin McGinty, M.D., has joined the faculty of Saint Louis University School of Medicine as an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. McGinty earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, followed by an orthopaedic surgery residency also at the University of Virginia Shool of Medicine and a pediatric orthopaedic surgery fellowship at New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases. She joins SLUCare from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

Board-certified in pediatric orthopaedic surgery, Dr. McGinty is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, the Medical Society of Virginia, the Association of Women Surgeons and the National Medical Association. Dr. McGinty is an attending physician at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center and has clinical expertise in pediatric trauma and fracture care, foot and limb deformities, hip dysplasia and sports injuries in children under the age of 13 years.
