Jason R. Taylor, M.D., has joined the faculty of Saint Louis University School of Medicine as an assistant professor of internal medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Dr. Taylor earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, followed by a residency in internal medicine at Case Western Reserve University and fellowships in gastroenterology and therapeutic endoscopy at the University of Michigan Medical Center. After completing his fellowships, Dr. Taylor was on the faculty at the University of Michigan. He joins SLUCare from the University of Michigan Medical Center. Board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology, Dr. Taylor is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr. Taylor is an attending physician at Saint Louis University Hospital and SSM St. Mary’s Health Center, and has clinical expertise in endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and other gastrointestinal procedures, including esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy. In addition to patient care and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Taylor has research interests in neuroendocrine tumors.
