Kurtis Todd Sobush, M.D., has joined the faculty of Saint Louis University School of Medicine as an assistant professor of pediatrics in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine. Dr. Sobush earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where he also completed his pediatric residency, followed by a pediatric pulmonary medicine fellowship at Duke University. He joins SLUCare from Duke University.

A member of the American Thoracic Society and the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Sobush lectures frequently on translational research in pulmonary medicine and cystic fibrosis. Dr. Sobush is an attending physician at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center and has clinical expertise in post viral bronchiolitis lung injury, congenital lung malformations, chronic lung disease ofinfancy, asthma, cystic fibrosis, restrictive lung disease associated with neuromuscular weakness and sickle cell lung disease. In addition to patient care and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Sobush has research interests in small airway epithelial cell behavior during normal maintenance and following injury or exposure to disease. In his spare time, Dr. Sobush enjoys spending time with his family.
