Michelle Beck, O.D., has joined the physician practice of Saint Louis University School of Medicine as an optometrist in the Department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Beck earned her doctoral degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, followed by rotations in pediatric optometry at St. Louis Children's Hospital and SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center. She joins SLUCare from her clinical rotations.

Certified in therapeutic pharmaceutical agents (TPA), Dr. Beck is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Missouri Optometric Association and the St. Louis Optometric Society. Dr. Beck is an attending optometrist at Saint Louis University Hospital and SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center, and has clinical expertise in refractive error, amblyopia, strabismus and contact lens fitting. In addition to patient care, Dr. Beck has interests in the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group (PEDIG) studies on amblyopia. In her spare time, Dr. Beck enjoys running and volunteering for Stray Rescue of St. Louis.

Grand Blvd.; and SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center at St. Anthony's Hospital, 12700 Southfork Road.
