Miguel A. Guzman, M.D., has joined the faculty of Saint Louis University School of Medicine as an assistant professor of pathology in the Division of Pediatric Pathology. Dr. Guzman earned his medical degree from Universidad Industrial de Santander, Colombia, followed by an anatomic pathology residency at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. He completed pediatric pathology fellowships at Children’s Hospital, Boston, and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, Philadelphia, and a neuropathology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. He joins SLUCare from his fellowship at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.

Board-certified in anatomic and pediatric pathology, Dr. Guzman is a member of the United States and Canadian
Academy of Pathology, the College of American Pathologists, the Society for Pediatric Pathology and the
American Association of Neuropathologists, and has interests in perinatal and placental pathology, pediatric
neoplasms and central nervous system tumors in both children and adults.
