Rotimi Johnson, M.D., has joined the faculty of Saint Louis University School of Medicine as an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology. Dr. Johnson earned his medical degree from Spartan Health Sciences University School of Medicine, West Indies. He completed his internal medicine internship at Michael Reese Hospital, Chicago; a diagnostic radiology residency at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital, formerly known as Cook County Hospital; and an interventional radiology fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College and New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Johnson joins SLUCare from his fellowship.

Board-certified in diagnostic radiology, Dr. Johnson is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, the American Roentgen Radiology Society, the Radiological Society of North America and the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound.
Dr. Johnson is affiliated with Saint Louis University Hospital and has clinical expertise in percutaneous ablative tumor therapy; hepatobiliary, genitourinary and gastrointestinal interventions; venous insufficiency; kyphoplasty; and uterine fibroid embolization. In addition to clinical and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Johnson has research interests in interventional oncology and uterine and prostate artery embolization.
