Sagun Goyal, M.D., has joined the faculty of Saint Louis University School of Medicine as an assistant professor of internal medicine in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology. Dr. Goyal earned her medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago, followed by a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Washington University School of Medicine. She joins SLUCare from her fellowship.
Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Goyal is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. Dr. Goyal is an attending physician at Saint Louis University Hospital and has clinical expertise in lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma and bone marrow transplantation. In addition to patient care and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Goyal has research interests in hematologic malignancies.
