Soophia K. Naydenov, M.D., has joined the faculty of Saint Louis University School of Medicine as an assistant professor of internal medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Naydenov earned her medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College, Pakistan, followed by an internal medicine residency and a critical care medicine fellowship both at Mercy, formerly St. John's Mercy Medical Center, and a pulmonary medicine fellowship at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She joins SLUCare from her fellowship.
Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Naydenov is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Naydenov is an attending physician at Saint Louis University Hospital and has clinical expertise in critical
care and pulmonology. In addition to patient care and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Naydenov has research interests in post-cardiac arrest patient management and interstitial lung disease.
