Wilson King, M.D., has joined the faculty of Saint Louis University School of Medicine as an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. King earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, followed by a clinical research training fellowship also at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, a pediatric residency at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, a cardiology fellowship at the University of Utah School of Medicine and a cardiac MRI fellowship at Harvard Medical School. He joins SLUCare from the University of Utah School of Medicine.
Board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology, Dr. King is an attending physician at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center and Anderson Hospital and has clinical expertise in cardiac MRI, transesophageal echocardiography and transthoracic echocardiography. In addition to patient care and teaching responsibilities, Dr. King has research interests in the quantification of mitral regurgitation and pulmonary hypertension therapies.
